Australian Builders Plates
Australian builder's plate (ABP) is required on the majority of recreational boats today and shows important safety information at a glance.
The plate provides details regarding the number of passengers, load limitations, engine capacity and buoyancy statement.
The ABP should be readily visible on the boat, preferably near the cockpit or steering position and is required in addition to the hull identification number (HIN).
If you are looking to upgrade your outboard, make new modifications to your boat, or are requiring a new ABP for insurance purposes, Keil Maritime are available to assist to ensure compliance and safety.
